India and Afghanistan: dynamic relations since decades

The research has focused on clarifying the political collaboration between Afghanistan and India and its influence on regional dynamics. It has also examined the economic relations between the two countries and the consequences for both. Additionally, the study has analyzed the development projects and initiatives undertaken by Afghanistan and India in the past 20 years and their resulting outcomes. The information for this article was collected from multiple reports utilizing a blend of quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as from printed and electronic media sources. India and Afghanistan have engaged in extensive collaboration across multiple domains since 2001, with the aim of fostering a cohesive, autonomous, diverse, tranquil, and influential Afghanistan. India deliberately refrains from engaging in military actions and employing hard power tactics, instead prioritizing collaboration and fostering friendly relationships. In addition, India has made substantial investments in major infrastructure projects, including the Salma Dam, the Zaranj-Delaram Highway, educational institutions, medical facilities such as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, and others. India has consistently demonstrated its reliability as an ally to the people of Afghanistan over the past two decades. The Afghan populace expresses considerable contentment with the efficacy and probity of the Indian administration.
